   FAQ / WHY?

Paying for the System

The BorderTransportationSystem is a major construction project that involves four states in the U.S.A. and several areas of northern Mexico.  None of the governments involved can or will pay for the entire system, and therefore the system has been designed to be mostly privately funded.

Each portion of the BorderTransportationSystem will be put forth for bids, and the best of the best will be selected to build the system.  Competitors will be judged on product quality and cost, follow-up maintenance, years in business, proof of concept, and financial ability to complete their portion of the project.
